Has anyone added a secondary holding tank to an THETFORD ELECTRA MAGIC head?

Hello,
I have a 1979 Hunter 30 and want to add a holding tank to my ELECTRA MAGIC head that has 6 gal capacity. Has anyone done this? If so I would be very interested in how you plumbed it.

You ARE aware that the ElectroMagic is a recirculating toilet? To use it, add water to the fill line in the tank, then add Thetford AquaKem according to directions on the bottle. Flushing pulls water & chemical in from the tank and sends the bowl contents out TO the same tank. This repeats--recirculating flushes--until new waste "deposits" fill the tank, at which time you have it pumped out. This can actually take awhile 'cuz the average waste deposit is less than pint. However, if time between pumpouts is longer than about 24 hrs it STINKS!
So the short answer is, there is no way to add another tank to this system.

So IMO, it's time consider replacing it with a system that doesn't let you inspect all your previously expelled waste as it recirculates through the bowl.
