The block that leads the halyards back to the cockpit have become worn and the sheaves need to be replaced. The one on the port side came off rather easily, but the one on the starboard side is another story. It seems that one of the bolts holding the block to the top of the deck, actually has a nut that is located in the wall between the head and the starboard settee. I think this was factory equip. in1984 since the deck is molded for the sheave blocks. My question is, is there an easier way to remove this block without ripping the interior apart?
