I just received my mast plate/halyard organizer from Mauri Pro (great price, looks sweet) and want to make sure I have the right ends fore and aft before I drill the holes. There are four holes on port and starboard, then one end has three holes in-line, and the other has three in a triangular pattern. I'm thinking that the triangular, staggard pattern would be useful forward of the mast, since it would be hard to direct a line out from the middle hole if it was at the same height as the other two around it. I won't be using the forward holes on the plate immediately, but hope to fly a spin someday and I want to make sure I get this right on the first try. Any input is appreciated.
