Halyard Block

AARGH!

The halyard block at the base of my P-27 has a broken sheave and it doesn't seem like I can find a proper replacement. The original mounts directly to a bushing on the mast step and can handle up to 9/16" rope (currently installed), but the cleave pin is only 6mm. Do I use a D-ring?

Can't really see the attachment at the base of the mast. I had all mine replace last year...... Used Garhauer products. They were great helping make a fit. I sent entail old one and he matched the attachment custom made for me.
