Jeff, sole thickness
on my 33' was 1/4 plywood with the teak/holly veneer. Because my boat had the fiberglas pan through out, there was not a need to use a heavier thickness. It does come in both 1/2 and 3/4" thickness if you think it needs it. I simplyglued the plywood to the fiberglas pan, then held it down while it dried using1 X 2" extending from the ceiling to the floor.I looked at a Hunter 34 in the slip next to me this past week, and she had3/4 plywood for the flooring with the teak/holly veneer. It was delaminatingand a real mess. I don't know what she is going to do.AS I mentioned in my project notes, I wound up using a Polyurethene adhesiveavaibile at Home Depot. I order the aluminum channel for the bilge cover froma site on the internet. I believe I looked up " aluminum T-Bar. Leave me youremail, and I will see if I can find the site again. A local welding shop weldedthe pieces together for me. It was 1/16" thick. I drilled the sides of the t-bar and screwed them to the edge of the cover (which was 1/2" marine plywood with the 1/4" teak/holly glued to it) making it 3/4". So the bilge cover hangs on the sole with one edge of the t-bar channel.Good luck...you can reach me at sherm8923@aol.com
