H356 stanchion deck backing plates

Richard,
I am attaching a copy of the Hunter Installation SOP used for assembly instructions for the H356. I believe that there is an embedded plate in the deck embossment that the stanchion based are mounted on. The SOP says that the bolt holes were drilled and tapped for 1/4" x 20 thread bolts. Hope this helps.

Did you find a H356 that you are buying? We just sold ours last week.

I downloaded a bunch of reference documents on the H356 a few years ago when Hunter posted them on their web site. The site link has changed several times, but someone posted the following updated link a few months ago. I think it still works.

Bob's correct - just be careful trying to unscrew the phillips head screws, they may be frozen and they are easy to strip. judicious use of an impact driver may help free them;use of a solvent like PB blaster will work as a last resort but need cleaning for the new bedding to adhere. use anti-seize on the machine screws at re-install.
