If the boat is on the trailer, look at the position while sitting on the trailer. IF you drawn a straight line down thru the keel tray which is wood covered by carpet, then you can do this while on the trailer.1. First, chock the wheels if the trailer is on an incline.2. Crank up the centerboard off the keel tray.3. Remove the bolts holding the boards. 4. You might have to cut the carpet back where the lag bolts are in order to remove them.5. Then either dig a hole then or before to allow the rascal to drop all the way out.6. Use glues like gorilla glue, carpet glues and so forth. I am not sure if Hunter used 5200 for that . Make sure the glue will not deteroiate if immersed in water.Good luck and be careful.
