More than you think
When we took our H26 home for the Winter last year, I hit the scales and logged just under 6000 pounds (were cruisers, not racers – and yes, I drained the water ballast). This summer, on the way to British Columbia, just under 7000 pounds. I have a Dodge Ram to pull it with. When we purchased the boat, I attempted to pull it with my Ford Aerostar – and burned up the transmission on the way home from the dealer (probably 4000 to 4500 pounds). So, my bet is, the transmission of any vehicle is the weak point. And a transmission cooler is a must.
