My '83 C-30 has a Standard VHS radio but it doesn't have a GPS to activate the red emergency button on it. What brand/model GPS do you recommend I install? Thank you.

A very basic gps just dedcated to the radio will work as long as it has a data out connection. I use an old hand held Garmin that I can plug into 12V and a serial data cable that provides NEMA data out. The radio and gps schematics in their respective manuals shows which wires to hook together.
