Source for Starters
Tim, there is a company named Masco http://www.mascostartersandalternators.com/ who sells new gear reduction starters at a reasonable price. I am planning to order one of theirs. I have no experience with the company, however, they are one source for a starter to fit your engine. I'll post how well the starter works on my YSM12.Steve, I have a heater on my engine and I also use a blow dryer on the air intake to help start the engine on cool days. I would like to get away from these starting techniques. A blow dryer and a 110 engine heater is not much help when I am on a mooring on a cool morning.
