iPad logon,
It seems to be the result of the white print on the yellow background issue Davidasailor26 wrote about.
iPad / iPhone logins might have the extra complication that iOS changes the color of logon boxes as part of its password saving feature.

Answers to questions:

1. No, we cannot go back to the old format. It was already starting lose function for users of new windows systems and was only going to get worse over time.

2. The home page has been the same since June. I may not have updated all of those links last night, they wil be fixed today.

3. The mobile app is dead and will not be replaced. The app was abandoned by the developer and was fading fast. This forum looks pretty darned good in a mobile browser -- not as good as the app probably, but close.

4. The looping is shut off. It was broken on SBO; when fixed it will redirect you to the branded site for your boat, so if you own a Beneteau you'll automatically click back into BeneteauOnwers.com, when you leave the forum.

5. If you haven't read it elsewhere, I accidentally flipped on moderation for all forums. That is now turned off.

I'm having some trouble getting the CSS settings to take effect on that form. It should be better on at least some platforms now, but I'll keep plugging. I have an ipad here for testing.

Win8, probably the same deal with colors in the dialogue box. Once I change boxes, the print is legible.

Win7 the same. Davidasailor26, you called it.

Well guess this is all necessary but I much preferred the old system.
What I have noticed so far.
I can't see the print as I type login (window 8)
Like my friend Ward, I miss the "All Discussions" option. (chief complaint)
I would prefer to block some posts instead of whole forums
Do I need to re-register?
I like some of the ads, can I still view them after re-reigistering?
As you see, I could also use a spell check!
Thank you for all your efforts.
ps I wonder if it might be better to have all O'Day forums under one forum to make following them easier that looking at them one at a time?

Give this 10 days and I promise you won't say that. Once you learn where everything is this is pretty darned good.

Working on that now.

That may not come back, as it will be a major project to make it work. If enough people want it we'll get it done.

You can hide specific threads and any users you want to ignore. I don't see the link to hide the thread so that may be a tech issue for the moment.

Do I need to re-register?
No, all of your credentials and history should have followed from the old forum.

I like some of the ads, can I still view them after re-reigistering?
The banner ads? You must work for Google! :) The only way to see those is to view the forum without logging in.

As you see, I could also use a spell check!
Spell check is best handled in your browser these days. If you use Chrome (and if you aren't, why not?) download an extension called Grammerly. It is beyond awesome and will spell (and grammar) check anything you type in any web form!

There is a "Thread options" menu that allows you to ignore specific threads rather than whole forums if you'd like. There's also a "New Posts" menu that shows all new posts across all forums, which is close to the old function of seeing all threads.

Yes, there it is! in the upper right corner above the top post, click on Thread Tools or Thread Options. You will see the link for Ignore Thread.

Also, under your settings (click on your username in the upper right corner) you can ignore any user.

Please put the "all forums" board back up?

I had a weird glitch logging on this morning...the username and password fields were pale yellow, the type--ONLY the type in the boxes--was white...all but unreadable. Type seems to be black on everything I've typed since, haven't logged out to find out if it's still white in the log in fields.

To help alleviate the "All Discussions", it is now a little red dot with a number in it. That tells us there have been x number of new posts since the last time we arrived. I actually complained about the missing "All Discussions" but got used to the little red dot. Makes it much easier for me. I think you will grow accustomed to the little red dot.

Is it just me in that when I click on a post and eventually return to it .............. it doesn't change colour to indicate it's previously been looked at ?
