I am preparing to fix a medium size soft spot on my O'Day 22 cabin top and have a quick question. I am going to be going in from the top and will be removing the skin (its cracked). After I have replaced the core and put down a new layer of fiberglass on top, what is the proper way to finish this repair up? I am planning on putting down a final coat of thickened epoxy on top of the cloth, but should I be sealing the top layer with a primer before painting? Or can I just proceed with painting and apply a non-skid additive to the paint? I am not planning on using treadmaster or any other stick on product.Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks,Andrew
