I am preparing to fix a medium size soft spot on my O'Day 22 cabin top and have a quick question. I am going to be going in from the top and will be removing the skin (its cracked). After I have replaced the core and put down a new layer of fiberglass on top, what is the proper way to finish this repair up? I am planning on putting down a final coat of thickened epoxy on top of the cloth, but should I be sealing the top layer with a primer before painting? Or can I just proceed with painting and apply a non-skid additive to the paint? I am not planning on using treadmaster or any other stick on product.Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Andrew

nonskid

since the nonskid is hard to mach some times you could just make a flat white spot like the main deck or grinde a square box around the repear and put a new nonskid inside the box with new flat deck all around some noskid is easer to repear then others. Most paint has some kind of primer read the paint specks.
