Finishing sole - top only or top and bottom?

I replaced the teak & holly flooring in my Starwind just before selling her so I can't know how well she will hold up. I used a satin finish varnish on the top and sides. At least 6 coats, maybe up to 8 on the top. I put at least 4 coats of white epoxy paint on the bottom. In the photo, I finished the bilge cut-outs to use as spares (who knows what for). As seen in the picture, they don't fit well because the kerf and sanding make them too small. I made the cut-outs from the leftover material to fit much more precisely. I took this photo before all was completed and fastened down.

I was a "yacht carpenter" at several boat yards, and when we would replace cabin soles, we would put a couple of coats of "West System" epoxy on the bottom and edges, then finish the top with "Gymseal". This is what they use on basketball courts. Super tough, fast build up...
