A guy in our yard refurbishing a steel boat he got for cheap. He's still at it 4 years later. Not sure if you want to work or sail. Different passion.

BTW, there is very little residual value on a home built boat.

In today's market for 100 K you can get a beautiful boat in great condition. Take your money and go buy a beautiful boat. Maybe a nice Pacific Seacraft 37 or a Caliber 38 or so forth. That hull should be cut up and used as backing plate for through hull replacements.

this guy has been working on this boat from scratch since he was 15 years old...he is now 50 and almost ready to go to the water
