funny thread for a sailing site
indeed my Dad taught me how to catch moles when I was a kid on a farm in rural Manitoba. We used to probe for a tunnel with a rod- usually near a mole hill. Then dig out a short iece of the top of the tunnel, exposing the tunnel. Then we set a leg hold trap ( I know, I know) in the tunnel. Then we would put a wide piece of thin wood over the hole- we used to use the side off a big apple box- guess you would have to use ply wood now- and cover the wood all up with dirt carefully so NO LIGHT GETS IN TO THE TUNNEL. This is very important. Next morning you will have caught the poor little mole and now you have to figure out whatto do with it.Now where else could you find out this kind of little known information but on this site?
