summer or fall, different reasons
My initial reaction to this question was, "Any 'season' but Saturday or Sunday." Nevertheless, to answer the question ...I like to be on the lake most any summer evening. The powerboaters are off the lake, tranquility sets in, the sunsets can be spectacular, and later sailing by moonlight is transcendant. Usually there is just enough wind to fill the sails and quietly bubble along. Or, I can drop everything and jump in. Whichever, it's peaceful enough to restore my soul, which is the point it, to me.But I guess I'm forced to choose fall as my favorite. Water's still warm enough to swim, and the wind can get the rail down, which restores my soul in a different way!I disdain to choose between the two.Tom MonroeCarlyle Lake
