There are ahh days and there are blah days, any favorite trips that are just outstanding in your mind.Last spring we sailed down the Baja coast, foggy and cold for the first part of the trip, winds varied but one night north of Turtle Bay just stands out. Clear, dark with no moon, stars were amazing, wind just perfect with very gentle seas. It was a little cool, but that night watch seemed to fly by. Used the stars more than the compass. Amazing to think of the millions of light years it took for that star shine to reach the earth and I may have been the only one to see it.
