faucet handle broken

Hello fellow hunter owners,

I have a quick question. I have a 2009 hunter 33. Last week end, my admiral attempted to use the hot water by turning the handle on my sink faucet.

the handle started spinning around and not grabbing the little teeths to actually turn the water on.

Looks like I now need a new handle as tighting up the screw does not work.

the under part in the handle itself is stripped.

Is it a common problem or is my admiral too strong!!!!!

Where would be the best place to get a handle only as I do not wish to change the entire sink.

Easy fix

Find the nearest RV store. They'll fix you up quickly, and for a lot less money than a boat store.

If you figure out the mfg. you can probably get one for free from them.

Contact Hunter Marine for the mfg's name.

Boat builders use same faucets & sinks used on land

The only differences are, for instance, an adapter on the faucet to attach a handheld shower. You can find replacements, parts and repair kits--and even the shower adapter thingee--for most of 'em at most big box hardware stores.

The same thing happened to my Hunter 28.5

I was able to get a replacement at Walmart. It was exact to the one on the boat. The adapter fit inside the plastic knob.
