Racing

Tired sails will have to be put to bed. Get with other racers in your class and check out what sails they are using and where they got them. Get with sail makers and talk thru your desires. Get a folding prop if you don't have one. Add a spinnaker or two (.75 and .50 oz) if you don't have any. Find some folks to crew for you and train them to work the boat as a team. Take a racing course such as offered by J-World to learn the fine points of starts, turning marks, and making the boat go fast. But most of all have fun since racing is what it is all about....Good luck!

Pineapple Sails

Try Pineapple Sails in Oakland (http://www.sailmaker.com/). They have a lot of experience in No CA sailing/racing and put out a great product. One of the boats featured in their Latitude 38 ads is a C-30, Delta Ruby.
