Looking for feedback / advice ,good and bad for the EZ Steer hook up between rudder and outboard motor.
Is it worth the investment.

I bought the Panther connector from Cabela's and am very happy with it.

I use the Cabella's version as well. It was well worth it for my boat. My turning radius coming into my marina is greatly reduced. I can also steer at slower speeds with it than without it. I was able to hook mine up so that the electric tilt outboard can be tilted without removing the connecting rod. If I had to take it on and off, I probably wouldn't use it.

I typically remove the rod while sailing. Not hard to do but it increases the risk of losing it overboard. I've sailed with it on with no problems, too.

Other than the rod from Cabella`s , what other components did you buy and where did you buy them.
Thanks

It comes all packaged. You just need a drill and a hacksaw. And maybe a tape measure and a pencil. Nothing else to buy.

Oh wait! Bolts. You will need bolts. Get them after you get the rod.
