In looking at these old designs which are absolutely beautiful to look at, it appears that the center of effort is much lower the modern day sail plans. Interesting indeed

@jon hansen bet you wish you still had it to me the 67-69's were the best years in my opinion.

had one for my dock car during my freighter years. kept it at the coal docks here in toledo. stupid fast. i was young with a lead foot.

One of our buddies on the Coast Guard cutter Point Swift, when we were living aboard Sunflower in the mid 70's, had one of these. It was his pride and joy. He told my brother and me, he got number stickers for the doors once, would roll the windows down and lock the doors, then he'd pull into the parking lot at the beach where all the hot-rodders hung out at night and climb in and out through the window. All the girls wanted to see the "race car".
