External Bow Thruster

Imagine sailing at night when in 'crab and lobster pot' infested waters with a BIG bulb under the bow of one's boat !!!! ... or when there is full tidal flow and most of 'floats' are 'just' underwater ... or when sailing in log infested water after a storm. You probably couldnt do better as when dragging a large grappling hook.

I have one now its called a keel!...I have found once encountering a crab pot it is to late to reverse off of it. All one can do is just keep her straight and if under power quickly go to neutral and let the forward momentum of boat ride over it and pray it does not catch on prop and it pops clean out the back.

Yep, that's what my wife called 'em. The C-25 progress is on the Catalina-Capri 25 assn forum. I heeded your suggestion to look up that forum. It is wonderful. And thank you.
