I am replacing the exhaust on my Catalina 30 with a Universal 5411. I was successful in removing the flange that fastens to the exhaust manifold, but destroyed the mixing elbow. As I see it I now have 2 options: 1) Get a new mixing elbow and remake the exhaust out of pipe, but I've only found the elbow at 1 place and for $100 it seems expensive. Anyone know where I might get one at a more reasonable price? 2) Have Catalinadirect in CA make an exhaust pipe from a single piece of stainless for about $170, but it will be custom bent from my measurements which makes me somewhat uncomfortable. Does anyone know of a place in MD or at least the east coast that could do similar work?

Plumbing suplly and a welder

When I replaced my exhaust, I took the OLD piece to a plumbing supply store where they matched up elbows and straight pipe to match. THe Mixing piece I also matched at the same store, but seperate pieces(the thick exhaust pipe(2"?) and the 1/2" pipe then brought it to a metal shop with the OLD one and had them cut and weld to match --$25 !!
