Gas Tank Replacement
The tank is probably metal and had corroded. Pump all the gas out of it and remove and strapping holding it down then take it out. If it was glassed in you may need to cut it out with a sawzall or some other saw. If you need to cut the tank itself first fill it with water to remove gas vapors. Could be messy... You should be able to find a replacement tank from Tempo. West MArine carries then and if you search online you can find the complete lineof Tempo tanks. One of their sizes should fit. I would go for something around 20 gallons, but if youknow the old tank size best bet for weight distibution on the boat would be to probably stict to that size.
