We have a new Catalina 320 and are trying to keep it looking new - does anyone have any tips on how to clean the eisinglass on the dodger? it seems to streak badly - I don't want to use any abrasives like Windex. I have been using a warm Joy-soapy sponge and just hosing the dodger off with a hose, but am not happy with the result. Also, the same for the plexiglass ports - they also streak. any tips for maintaining the surfaces would be greatly appreciated! thanks! BTW, we really like the dry Swiffer mop for maintaining the floors below - and putting out a few Bounce dryer sheets when we leave is great!

Pledge for the Dodger

After you are done cleaning with the joy soap and rinse and the dodger is dry use Pledge with a soft cloth inside and out and it will look great and keep the vinyl looking new for a long time!

window cleaning

There are products that work great for both and are available at most marine stores. I use a 3M product for cleaning the ports. It's a foam product and also works great on mirrors. Even use one at home. There is another product made just for the dodger. It is like a wax. Wash first with soap and water then use this product. Keeps them looking like new and makes the rain bead up and roll off. Pat

eisenglass

Joni; I use SeaPower, a mildly abrasive cleaner/wax on my dodger and it works great, much better than those commercial plastic window cleaners.

3M makes a product called, Clear Plastic Cleaner, it works great. The pledge advice is also good. Pledge is all Hinckley Yachts recommends
