thanks for your help in more than one way sorry that this is such a specific area type question but I have to ask if anyone knows of a sailmaker that does repair work now that warfield is not. I prefer a small independent. or has anyone had any luck at a canvas shop? there's a lot of those around. thanks again gotta go sailing. falcon
