We photographers don't really care for people copying our work, either. It's how we make a living. And how we pay others to upgrade our boats.
As a photographer myself I don't like people
stealing my work. But if I have already been paid for it the owner can do with it what they want short of re-selling it. I am not re-selling these movies they are for my own use... BIG DIFFERENCE.....
The point here is that I already
PAID Hollywood for these products! I just want to be able to view them on the iPad too.... Why is it that I can rip all my CD's into my computer, through iTunes, and listen to them on my iPad, phone, iPod etc. but not the movies I paid for just like the CD's I paid for???
I have ripped almost 1500 CD's into my computer and listen to them on all of my personal devices. The CD's now sit in storage boxes unless I want to do some audiophile level listening..
BTW it is 100%
legal to make a copy for yourself, which is exactly what and how these will be used. I am
not stealing anything all these movies have been bought and paid for by my wife & I. We just don't want to lug along an iPad AND a portable DVD player and the physical DVD's for our daughter on this trip...
We are really put off that the movie industry would prefer that we buy the product a
second time just to watch it on the iPad vs any one of our TV's or other DVD players. What makes an iPad so special that they want me to pay for the product a
SECOND TIME!!!???? That to me is 100% OFFENSIVE and a rather unethical way of doing business...
So, without any more misguided nit-picking on something I want to do that is 100% LEGAL, which DVD ripping software do you guys use??
