I did for our 23, but I ordered a lifeline from a rigger, I think in Annapolis. I would not try to swage the fittings on the cable ends unless I had a (very expensive) roll swager tool. Hayn (and maybe other companies) make fittings that you can attach to the end of 19 strand stainless wire yourself, but they are pricey and it may be less expensive to simply order lifelines with the studs swaged by a rigger. The Hayn fitting I used was for the top of my headstay, and I needed to be able to attach it myself as I had to do it after the stay was through the furler foils, something you have to do on site or at least locally.
