Are you Enjoying Elizabeth City?
It was one of our best stops last May.
We went to the Visitors Center and were invited to their free, boaters happy hour on the waterfront deck of Groupers Restaurant.
Beer, wine cheese and crackers and a brief talk on what to expect in the Dismal Swamp Canal.
We also received a recommendation of Thumpers Restaurant, which is more of a local pub.
Sheila had the $9.95 Grilled Tuna dinner, and I had the $11.95 10 oz Rib Eye, both specials of the day.
Elizabeth City is very boater friendly.
