Disassemble the trailer for storage?

Hello All,
I just purchased a 2009 26M and it will live in the water in my marina. I don't have room to store the trailer on my property, unless I take it apart. It appears the trailer is two halves bolted together. Has anyone every taken the trailer apart this way? I assume I also unbolt the axle and I am imagining this can become 3 or 4 manageable pieces that I can store in my side yard.
Ideas or suggestions?
Thank you, Dan

I have never heard of anyone doing that before but why not. If it is what you need to do, it is what you need to do. Someone put it together in the first place so you know it CAN be done.

I would take a sharpie and physically mark (ON THE TRAILER) the location of the U-bolts and other adjustable components. Mark it thoroughly!!!! Take a lot of pictures before and as you take it apart. Mark all of the pieces and keep a log.

When you put it back together... if you get the "square" of the axles off by just a little, the trailer will sway like a beyache... and if you don't get the center of mass right and the tongue weight is light... it will sway like a behache.

Thank you that is good advice. I had not considered the squareness required upon re-assembly but I see why that is going to be very important. I will also take some diagonal measurements before disassembly so I can have some good references whenever I put it back together.
