Over the decades, I think I've tried every possible way to fix, or mount things like lifting points on inflatables, and never found anything better than Epoxy 330. However, it really is all about preparation. Super clean (not even fingerprints), sanded through any shininess on the repair/installation area and the patch, I've even used lighter fluid to insure cleanliness.
Tiny to small holes can be fixed with the smallest patch that will cover the hole, whereas larger ones will require more area around the damage.
I've even repaired transom problems with the 330, and for a "field repair" it worked very well.
