I installed a mast track system from Tides Marine ~2 years ago when I got a new main and jib. It's much easier to raise the main now.
This (& lube helps too). As I solo a bit, I really appreciate the Tide Track while dropping the main.

When I want to total depower, it happens. Also, much easier reefing. The stack pack has also helped.

Thought - what condition is your bolt rope in?

My 38' Morgan had old school sail tracks and mast winch, I could hoist the full battan main up by hand. Winching the last 2 feet for tendion. Halyards led aft, add SO much friction. Helped a friend bend on his 26' Compact jib on and had to winch it all the way up the foil. Halyards led to cockpit with several line organizers/friction adders.
Clean your mast out using the halyard and a solvent soaked rag and chase line Then spray every slug/clip with McLube. Once or twice a year! Every turning block is a potential friction adder, take apart and McLube it.
