Looking at a Pearson 31 as a possible buy. I like to gunkhole so anchoring is very important. Is anyone aware of any problems with deepening and draining this chain/rode well? Also adding a windlass?

Have a 31 no windlass but anchor locker holds my 250ft rode and a spare anchor with another 250. Nestled in there is a one gallon diesel fuel container just in case. Nice locker and bigger than I thought when I first looked at it
