I know that many of you have used these with much success to remove vinyl stripes and/or lettering. I'm having some minor gelcoat work done this spring as a result of some damage caused by the lift at haulout last fall, and one of the upsides is that the glass guy is going to buff out the entire hull to make sure things match up color wise. The boat needs new stripes, and I'm changing the name as well (just got the boat last year and finally decided on a name), so I figured that I'd get all of the old off before the boat is buffed. After that preamble, my question is this - How long should I plan for to remove the stripes on a 35 foot boat? I've heard the "big eraser" works quite well, and is relatively quick. Also, what kind of wear on the eraser? In other words, for this size boat, how many erasers should I plan to go through? Thanks -T J
