I just redid all of the interior cushions with sunbrella. I have never found them to get mildewy ( if thats a word). They never feel hot to lay on either. Our boat has good ventilation so it might keep the mildew down. I went with 6" of multi density foam in the V-berth and it is better than sleeping at home. We also have the sleeping bag system specially made for the V-berth with the added sheets - can't recall the name - but they are nice.
I have also included a pic of the interior gauge holes and the hinged covers I made for them out of off white starboard.

Dear Ed,
I am searching for a previous posting asking for help as to where to install fire extinguishers, and came across the picture of your navigation table, with a compass attached to the wall
I have a number of them, and would like to know how is your secured to the wall
Thanks
Jorge

Jorge,

I have a fire extinguisher near the galley as you do, I have another one just inside the v berth on the port side. Easy to grab if I need to.

Jorge, fire ext. and compass.

Just like Dave I have a fire extinguisher in the v-berth and one handy to the galley. In fact it is right under the compass that you mentioned. Both the fire ext. bracket and the compass bracket use screws into the teak bulkhead, probably 1/2". That's a pretty thick bulkhead, nice feature of the Cherubinis. Picture is while on the hard thus the messy shelf.
