Spoke with Catalina Yachts today on the phone about getting some new cushions made using my old covers as patterns. Lots of info in the archives. However, they said they have zero idea on how much it would cost to ship them here to Michigan. Does anyone have any experience with something like this. Just don't want to spend $1300 on new cushions and then a huge chunk of cash on shipping. ?? they said it would be sent over road freight. Thanks in advance. Steve

I would also like to order the same cushions for my 27, and like you am wondering about shipping. The package would be very large. Phil I would be happy if it was just $100. In Vancouver, BC the $1300 is much cheaper than anything else quoted even with the canadian dollar exchange. If you do order them, post your charges as I would be interested. Also, I know this is true of Canada, but here it is a lot cheaper to bring stuff up from the states using the regular mail rather than the private ones.

Just had mine done last year
I had mine done by Cataline last year and as I remember it was about $100 to Chicago. By the way they did an excellent job on ours for a cat 30 (1981). The boat looks like new! Even took it to out annual tour of boats. Good luck.

How do you like the colour
I phoned Catalina and I they said I had three choices of colours - blue, blue or blue. How do you like your new cushions for colour; I am assuming they are blue?

I had all my new C30 cushions delivered free. Catalina sent them from Ca to NY in a new boat. I went to the dealer and picked them up. See if you can work out a simliar deal.
