Cupro-Nickel HE fittings

Anyone have any experience with Cupro-nickel heat exchangers with respect to fittings? I need to screw on a 3/8" NPT hose barb. Seems like bronze is pretty safe but I can't find anything that small in bronze. Stainless? I assume brass is a no-go?

................... on whether the fitting is subject to sea water or antifreeze.

You shouldn't have any problems with brass as long it's in the antifreeze side of the loop.

Sea water side ? ? ............ not so good.

why not use copper fittings after all there is a lot of copper in the heat exchanger flews...
