I ordered , and received a new "Blue Water" cruising full batten mainsail from LEE Sails of HONG KONG .Beautiful craftmanship with great attention to details , and for 2/3 of the price of the LOWEST quote from several U.S bases sailmakers !!!Just blew put my old roller furling jib/genoa on my o'day 37,
and am looking for a good but economical sailmaker. Anyone used fareast or other overseas?
As one of the friendsI purchased sails from Martin at Somerset Sails and was very pleased, so have several of my friends. They are all made in USA and made for your boat the way you sail it. Not something off the shelf. The price may be much less than you expect. Call him on the phone, works much better than email. He also has an ebay store for new and used sails. He might be able to recut a used sail for you if you are a real tight budget.
