So for the clumsy, it looks like it has a crash box, a watertight bulkhead a few feet behind the bow.

Indeed there are 3 watertight bulkheads. The one you mentioned, the door on the other side of the sail locker just aft, and the rudder/dinghy compartment.

$2million dang! I was so going to buy one. SA/displacement of 32:1 12 ft draft (keel down) water ballast. Well maybe on boat show special.

Yea for sure. But a full carbon build. What price glory?? ;-)

For sure a lottery or sell-the-company boat. For most , the Pogo 50 at 1/3 to 1/4 the cost delivers 80% of the goods.
