Not enough said....Happen to have some sitting right by computer-
carton says-
no sanding between coats.
no sanding between 2000Eand anti fouling
apply interprotect at (example) at 0800, 0900, 1200, 1500
Day two- apply 2000e-
0800 , 1100, then at 1600-first coat of bottom paint
Taken directly from carton
Nuff said?
Sorry- yes- missed that line down at the bottom of the carton, about VC 17 and other performance coatings. Didn't read the entire carton, but it's all there, showing multiple kinds of bottom paints and how to deal with. Not enough said....
Sadly they can't fit it all on the can of paint. You do not hot coat any of the vinyl based anti fouling paints to IP2KE. For IP2KE to IP2KE there is no sanding required unless you wait longer than 6 months but for IP2KE to VC17 the IP2KE must be dry then sanded, then solvent washed then the VC17 can be applied. If temps are in the cooler range 24 hours cure for the IP2KE may not be sufficient...
Thanks for the update! Glad it is there because many owners won't go beyond the can label and this can lead to major headaches....Sorry- yes- missed that line down at the bottom of the carton, about VC 17 and other performance coatings.
