Conundrum back in the water.

So they put my boat back in the water today. I had to rush to put the graphics on but pulled it off. Posting pics of the finished product. Please note the new Oday 28 logos look great (anyone needing them I can send graphics, also talked to my local graphics guy about making them). Definitely stripping the paint down to gel coat next time I take the boat out. I do all my own graphics work.

Also looks like a fresh coat of paint. What did you use and what colors? Looks like she just left the factory.

Great looking boat! That boat must be sooo proud among the fleet. I bet she takes good care of you. You did a nice job. I especially like the lettering and the decal.

The main hull is was done in Pettit EZpoxy in Off-White. I used a little over a quart (3 coats). Striping was done with Interlux Brightside Polyurethane in Dark Blue. 3 coats was about half a quart. The blue really needs multiple coats to look good and scotch bright scuffing between coats is a must.

A lot of 28s have dimpling on both sides at midship below the shrouds. Does Conundrum? Can't tell from the pics. Does look sweet though.

Yes, mine has two distinct dimples where I beleive the bulkhead is. Never really noticed it until I started working on the blisters and sanding it. doesn't seem to affect anything though.

As the others said, very nice. Was the Brightside Dark Blue a close match to the original blue? Hard to tell shades from the photos.

I too like the graphics.

Its actually darker which is what I was going for. I have alot of Captains Navy on the boat so I was trying to get a little bit of uniformity. Of course Dark Blue is different for everyone it seems.

Ironically the bottom paint is SeaHawk Cucote Dark Blue....not nearly as dark as the Brightside.
