This is one of the best sites on Concealed Carry I have seen. My concealed carry instructor said it is one of the best he has seen! He did say it is best to check the Attorny General web-site in the states you are going to for specific laws.

Now my question is this; Does being on the water change anything pertaining to concealed carry?

In Oklahoma it is unlawful to possess a loaded, uncased firearm in or on a waterborne vessel unless you are engaged in hunting which necessitates the use of such vessel (e.g. waterfowling). UNLESS...........you have a valid Concealed Handgun License. The law concerning CC also states that in the event of any encounter with a Law Enforcement Officer, the Permit Holder MUST identify themselves as having a Handgun License and being in possession of a firearm. I've been boarded numerous times on OK waters and have never been given grief. I have always interpreted the law (even in reciprocity) to entitle the permit holder to carry anywhere unless it is prohibited by another law. But when I do carry outside OK I have to remember that I have to comply with that states laws as well.
