Compass on Catalina 27

I have a 1982 Catalina 27. The compass on the port bulkhead has leaked out all of its fluid. Can the seals be replaced and new fluid added? Or where would I find another compass? Catalina owners web site does not have any listing for compass. Any help would be appreciated.

You probably don't need a new compass. If the dome is cracked, you can replace it, the seal,and add new fluid. Most are filled with mineral oil. Sean

Your compass may be manufactured by Ritchie Compass. If so, you just need to contact them with the model number and/or the boat info and compass style and they will help you with parts or service. They were very good to me with info, updated and parts. Ron C-27, 5110
