who's got a line on cockpit cushions for catalina's? it's seems to me I saw something in the laditude { aftermarket} or heard I could go thur catalina? If you know, please let me know, Im' a buyer. thanks

C-Cushions

C-Cushions or BottomSiders are closed cell foam, waterproof, single piece. I have them on my C-25 and they make them for all sizes or patterns of cockpits. Links are: www.bottomsiders.com & www.ccushions.com.

Hey Jake, whats up I'm accross the slough in Vacaville. I've got a Catalina c250 that I bought a full set of cockpit cushions for.$450.00 bucks, but that even gave me a triple thick ( 10") seat for behind the wheel. One outfit is in texas, and one is in Seattle. If you buy at the SAIL EXPO ( next April) you get a pretty good Show discount. Delivery is about 6 weeks from either. Lots of guys throw them outside the boat and use them for "Floaty'. And the price I don't do that because I don't want to run the risk of tearing them...They are mode out of closed cell foam with vinyl sprayed over them like a life jacket, ot pool floaty. I love em, and they are so much better than the Stock catalina units. They are just faom with vinyl sewn upholstrey over them.

Check Catalina

I checked all over for new cushions and found that the best price was from the Catalina factory. You send them your covers and they return them with new covers and foam. Only drawback is that they only have 2 colors -- blue and green. (check the new boats and you can see what the cushions look like). Their parts dept is not too service oriented but faxes work pretty well.
