Cleaning stern seats

I bought some thin starboard and covered them. never put the teak slats back.

Try Magic Eraser to clean the starboard if the paint doesn’t work.

Do not sand, as that will only leave finer finer scratches than you can ever hope to clean out.

Sound like the OP painted them....

I was going to suggest Barkeepers Friend. A cleansing powder (a bit abrasive), with oxalic acid.

I use it on my decks to whiten and brighten the non-skid, remove stains, etc.
