What I did
I added a 1000 watt inverter to my boat (31)it will run what you are wanting to do, I mounted mine under the sink in the galley and ran the 12v power through the engine room to the battery box, the connections to the batterys are the aligator type connections that came with the inverter, I did this because you cannot run the inverter while charging your batteries under shore power, as it will burn up the inverter (I have to make a decision to connect the inverter not the other way around) this greatly reduces the chance of "Frying" the unit. For the AC side I used a quality extention cord that runs from the inverter to the shore power connection, that when not in use hangs in the starbord locker. I did this because if you "hard Wire" the inverter to your 110 behind the panel and forget to disconect before connecting to shore power the inverter become an expencive paper weight.
