Maine Sail, do you have the "cigarette lighter" receptacle for these DC USB charger plugs wired directly to the batteries (fused, of course) so that they are always 'hot', or are they switched somehow?
Since the subject is 6v batteries in a 2, 4, 6 bank, what chargers are being used? For instance when my C27 was converted to electric propulsion, I used four 12V AGM in series (48Vdc) and used a 4 bank 12V, 10 amp charger. I did a quick search and found very few 6Vdc multiple bank chargers, NOCO genius was the only one I found. So are you treating 2 batteries in series with a 12V charger?
