Changing antifreeze

Practical Sailor says diesel antifreeze can go five years. My boat is 2005 and has 433 hours on the engine.

When I first got my O’Day 322 (Yanmar 2GM20F), she leaked antifreeze bad. I was adding so much , I didn’t feel like I had to change it...

Now that stopped the leak, I guess I need to remember this!

Greg, why did it stop? Because you tightened up something or that you used some of the stop leak anti freeze meant for car systems?

I tightened every hose clamp I could find, and I regasketed the plate on the HX with the filler neck. That seemed to do the trick. I also filled the reservoir.
