Thanks you
Thank you for the responses. Yesterday, while at work, I called (may as well give them a plug) Noank Shipyard to arrange for a rigger to repair my CDI Flexible Furler. We made an appointment, then the gentleman helping me asked several questions. I have been a Hank on Dingy sailer until last season mind you. I had heard of backstay and halyard tension before as it relates to ease of furling, but didn't put all the info together until talking to the NS guy. Today my son and I went down to the boat, and in lierally 15 minutes had adjusted everything for effortless furling. It was the poor tuning that was causing all the troulbe. In retrospect, I would have been embarassed to have a rigger see my rig. all is well now, and again thank you for the help.Eric
